Arts & Craft Club

We studied the art of pointilism and were shocked to realise that these painting were made up lots and lots of dots!

This one took the artist 2 years to complete and had over 3,000,000 dots. 

We decided to create our own.

Our first Sam animation movie!

Unfortunately lots of children were absent from the movie making club today as they had been absent from school. Therefore, we felt it would be unfair to continue with our group movies without them. Instead, we quickly made some plasticine models and then filmed them dancing to get to grips with using Sam animation. We thought about how to make the film look like an earthquake and learnt how to add sound.

Homework Club

Everyone works hard at homework club!

Stretching and Kicking at Taekwondo

We started Taekwondo today by stretching out. All of us could reach our toes!

Then we practiced our kicking skills. 

Making Bruschetta in Cooking Club

This week in Cooking and Planting Club we made bruschetta.

First we chopped up the tomatoes, garlic, basil and bread.

 Then we mixed them together...

...and placed the bread on a baking tray ready to toast.

Finally, we went to the canteen to take the bread out of the oven. We placed the tomato mix on top and enjoyed our yummy bruschetta.

Manga: The next level!

Today we looked at how to draw a horizon line and a vanishing point. From there, we created a street scene!
