We had a fantastic trip to Fresh Ville farm where we learnt about hydroponic vegetables and found out how mushrooms grow. We also plated some coriander.

Writing Rockets
Today in Writing Rockets we took our solar systems booklets to the ICT suite where we researched all about the sun. We found out lots of facts and took notes, making sure to not to copy but instead write the information in our own words.

Magic trick number 2!
Over the past two weeks we have been working to produce our second trick. We filmed our videos last week and this week we have been adding the secret effects. It proved quite a tedious and time consuming task....but we persevered and have pretty much completed them. We'll add the finishing touches after half term and get them posted for you to see!
Cooking and Planting
This week in Cooking club we made some rather messy valentines Oreo lolly pops. Then we checked on the plants that have been growing. Go to the bottom of this post to see our potato and onion plants as well as our herbs and flowers.

Valentines
Who needs to buy a bouquet of flowers when you can make them!
In Art and Craft club we learnt how to make a variety of paper flowers. We will form these into a bouquet and give them to someone we love.
