Writing Rockets

This week in writing rockets we were writing non chronological reports. We watched a video to help inspire our writing:

 Then we wrote reports about keeping giraffes as pets, what food they eat, where they like to sleep etc. Everyone worked really hard and produced some great pieces of writing :) 

Button jewellery

In arts and crafts club we have begun making our own jewellery using buttons. The children selected which form of jewellery they would like to do. Some chose necklaces whilst others chose bracelets. We thought about designs, patterns and ways to attach our buttons. Here is our work so far.

Chicken Nuggets

In cooking club this week we made chicken nuggets.

First we cut the chicken.

The we dipped it in flour, egg and breadcrumbs

 Then we fried them.

Then we enjoyed them!

Writing Rockets

This week we wrote postcards about our Songkran holidays! We watched a short clip from the movie 'Mr Beans Holiday' and together we talked about the features of a postcard and shared stories from our own holidays.
