Animations featuring us!

We've finished our animations featuring ourselves. It proved quite a tricky task keeping the camera still as well as our bodies for the photos. Here are a few examples, we hope you enjoy them!

Stop motion featuring us!

This week we have been working hard planning a stop motion animation featuring ourselves. We decided on the setting, the props and story line and then got straight to work creating everything we need. We worked hard and got everything finished, so next week we can start filming!

Another Magic Trick!

We've finished our videos showing trick two! We've been working hard to master these new skills....have a look at a couple of examples below. Can you work out how we do the trick?





Next week we have decided we want to make some more stop motion animations. We'll post our new stop motion movie as soon as it is complete!

Magic trick number 2!

Over the past two weeks we have been working to produce our second trick. We filmed our videos last week and this week we have been adding the secret effects. It proved quite a tedious and time consuming task....but we persevered and have pretty much completed them. We'll add the finishing touches after half term and get them posted for you to see!

It's Magic!

Over the past two weeks at movie making club we have been learning how to do magic tricks! Our first magic trick was learning how to appear and disappear. Have a look at some of our spooky videos below to see how good we are at this trick.








We filmed the videos, put them together, and added titles and music completely independently. We can't wait to learn our new magic trick next week...

Writing Code

Now that we have mastered movie maker, sam animation and goanimate we have been learning to write code to create animations. It's proving a little tricky and challenging but we are all determined to succeed! Our work will be posted when we have finished.

Our own movies!

In previous weeks children have been using templates to create their own movies as well as movie maker. This week they have been applying their knowledge from these two programmes to create their own templates, music and movements. It will definitely take a few weeks to perfect our skills but we already can't wait to share our finished movies with you soon.

Finished animations!

We have been working hard on making stop motion clay animations this term and they are all finally finished. This week in movie making we edited them, added titles, captions and music. Take a look and see what you think.

Improving our animation skills.

 This week we built on our knowledge of cartoon animation from last week. We thought carefully about our story lines, how characters would react to different situations and dialogue.
