Writing Rockets!

This week we were working on our reading comprehension skills....but with a Christmas twist. We watched a short Christmas cartoon and in pairs answered questions about different aspects of the cartoon. 

Writing Code

Now that we have mastered movie maker, sam animation and goanimate we have been learning to write code to create animations. It's proving a little tricky and challenging but we are all determined to succeed! Our work will be posted when we have finished.

Hot air balloons.

Over the past couple of weeks we've been using paper mache to make hot air balloons. We designed, made and finally painted and the finishing touches will be added this week.

Last week we celebrated Fathers Day so we decided to turn our dads into 'SuperDads'. We used similes to emphasize our dads super powers!!

Cooking and Planting Club

In Cooking and Planting Club this week we planted some more cucumber, soy bean,  sugar peas and green beans. Now that we have a watering rota they should start to grow in to happy and healthy plants.
